Excel Industrial Doors and Shutters Install Shutter and Steel Door

The Together Group in Leeds reached out to our team for the installation of electric roller shutters and steel hinged doorsets. The Together Group specialise in construction projects in the education, healthcare, commercial and leisure sectors.

Electric Roller Shutters

We manufactured and installed four electrically operated roller shutters, designed with a Safedrive® motor. This motor incorporates a safety brake to regulate the descent speed of the curtain, ensuring controlled and safe operation.

The shutters feature a Hold-To-Run operation, managed through a convenient push-button control panel. This user-friendly system enhances operational ease and control. To address power failures, each shutter is equipped with a manual override facility, allowing for continued functionality via a hand chain in the absence of mains power.

Constructed from durable pre-galvanized solid steel lath, these shutters are built to withstand the demands of varied environments, providing long-lasting strength and resilience.

The shutters come complete with a fascia, contributing to a neat and finished appearance while concealing the shutter mechanism.

Steel Hinge Exit Doors

We manufactured and installed a 45mm thick door leaf with a flush-lipped astragal and a strong ‘Hexatex’ core, which enhances the door’s strength and insulation.

The door leaf is composed of two thick ‘Rustec’ sheets, dutch folded and internally bonded and the frame is manufactured from thick ‘Rustec’ steel, ensuring durability and stability.

Equipped with Grade 13 stainless steel twin-bearing butt hinges, the door ensures smooth operation and security. It also has high-security dog bolts to further enhance the overall safety features.

The door is finished with a powder coating, making it not only functional but visually appealing as well.
