Excel was contacted by Rooms Engineering & Fabrication Ltd, a Steel Fabricators based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. They were looking for a company to manufacture, deliver and install electric roller shutters at one of their sites in Doncaster.

Crafted from galvanized steel with sections measuring 94mm deep, these shutters boast enduring strength and durability. What sets them apart is the innovative Ecotech formula foam filling, providing excellent insulation while remaining eco-friendly. Free from CFCs and with minimal impact on global warming, these shutters offer a sustainable choice.

Each panel features robust Nylon end fittings, and the bottom incorporates a plastic extrusion with an interlocking rubber weather seal.

Powered by a Safedrive® motor, these shutters ensure safety with a built-in brake mechanism regulating descent speed. The Hold-To-Run operation is managed by a push-button control panel, and a manual override with a hand chain ensures functionality during power outages.

Tailored for two openings, approximately 4295mm wide x 3730mm high, these shutters display a colour-coated finish in “Juniper Green” to enhance the overall aesthetic.
