Excel provide manually operated roller shutters for Thai & Chinese restaurant

The team at Excel Industrial Doors and Shutters recently embarked on an exciting project at Sweet Basil Valley located in Rawdon, Leeds.

The restaurant sits within a large building, with many windows along the front of the premises. It is crucial for the owners to ensure the restaurants’ security at all times, especially when the restaurant is closed. When Sweet Basil Valley were looking to invest in new security measures, they came to Excel for help.

Our company were delighted to be asked to manufacture, deliver and install nine manually operated roller shutters. As the shutters were for windows and cupboards which were all easily accessible, the company chose the push up and pull-down shutters for their building.

Each shutter has been constructed from three-inch pre-galvanised solid steel lath with 65mm guide channels. Each guide component is welded to the next for added security and a pair of bullet locks are supplied as standard. Sweet Basil Valley needed shutters for both internal and external windows; one for their front door window, six for their restaurant windows and internal bar and cupboard windows.

Upon seeing the final result, the owners of Sweet Basil Valley were thrilled with the outcome and are confident that their business will now remain safe whether they are there or not.
