Excel update roller shutters for J.P. Wild in Leeds

Excel’s latest work took us to Leeds to install remove an old electrically operated roller shutters and install a new one. J.P. Wild is a successful retail & commercial building business with over 30 years experience.

For J.P. Wild, the team removed and disposed of 6 No. electric roller shutters. Then manufactured, delivered and installed; 7 No: single-phase 240 volts 50 Hz. electrically operated roller shutters.

The operation of each shutter can be carried out either by using a key-switch, which comes complete with three keys, or through a remote control equipped with two handsets. The shutters are constructed from 3” pre-galvanized solid steel lath and 65mm guide channels. Each shutter is equipped with a manual override facility, accessible in the event of mains failure, utilizing a winding handle. Additionally, a safety brake is included for added security.

All guide components are welded together, enhancing the overall security of the shutters. These shutters are designed to suit approximate openings, with a total of 7 shutters measuring 5000mm wide and 2500mm high each, and a total of 6 shutters in total.

Additionally, the team removed and disposed of an old electric roller shutter.
