Excel installed a single three-phase electrically operated unit, equipped with a GFA Elektromaten Safedrive® motor. The motor also includes a safety brake to guarantee controlled descent speed and prevent any over-speeding.

The control panel with push buttons simplifies the operation of the Internal-Hold-To-Run system inside the building. Additionally, there is a Key Switch located on the roller shutter surface for external control.

In the event of mains power failure, the roller shutter is equipped with a manual override facility. This feature, operated by a hand chain, ensures continued functionality even during power outages.

The roller shutter is constructed from pre-galvanized solid steel lath, designed to prioritise durability, security and reliable protection for the premises.
